PIRANHA Kultur‘s
production team has been active in the international music and cultural
exchange scene for over 20 years. The Piranha portfolio ranges
from the self-produced Berlin summer festival classic Heimatklänge
or the Nächte des Ramadan to programming for the Staatliche Museen
zu Berlin, the Europafest of the German Government in 2007, the
Goethe-Institut Beijing and others.
C3 Initiator and Artistic Director
Jennifer Dautermann
specialises in modern and contemporary classical music as well as club
music. Born in Detroit, educated at the Interlochen Arts Academy and the University of
Michigan School of Music, Jennifer worked for many years in the 'Arts
and Creative Industries' department of the British Council, Germany and
was in charge of the conception, realisation and evaluation of various
projects in the areas of visual arts, culture, music and film. She
brought the first
C3 / Club Contemporary Classical Festival (2009) into being and has been developing it ever since. At the same time she is project manager of
CLASSICAL:NEXT, a new professionals forum for classical and art music, initiated by CLASS and produced by WOMEX.
Michal Jacaszek,
born in 1972, lives in Gdansk/Poland as a composer, producer and sound
artist, and is also a Member of PSeME (Polish Society for
Electroacoustic Music). As a musician and workshop leader he took part
in many festivals and sound projects all over the world: New York,
London, Porto, Krakow, Lviv and Berlin.
Fabian Lasarzik
was born in 1970, studied communication science and arts and worked as
a journalist and arts promoter. He brought electronic dance music
events to the Ruhr Area in the early 90s.
He has worked as a curator and arts manager for 12 years and became the
head of the department for Culture & Arts at the Unesco World
Heritage Site Zollverein.
A Ku Ku Sztuka carries
out different kinds of activities in the field of culture, art and art
education. The Association promotes Tricity (Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia)
as an important cultural center in Poland. Among it various project one
can find those focused on movie art, such as “Animation
Now!”, “Cremaster On Tour”. “Parkowanie”,
“Cuda Wianki” are interdisciplinary, open space events
organized each year in summertime. Association is an organizer of an
international Festival "Transvizualia" that presents audiovisual art.
Association was awarded by “Gazeta Wyborcza” (one of the
most popular dailies in Poland) with “Sztorm Prize” for its
cultural activities.
